Change of plans

Hey beloved global-village-people!!!!!
I am now in Haifa running 3-4 times to the bunkers each day (this morning Nasralla was my wake-up-clock.... but at least i got my lazy ass up) while packing my things to come back!!!!!
My beloved Tomer is on the phone since 2 days to arrange me a flight. It sounds like he found one now. But meanwhile don't worry, we have a bunker in the house and the sirens give us 1-2 minutes time to get to security. I only fear taking showers or going to the toilet for a longer busisness hihi. The bombing is further north, as the Israel pushed Hisbolla further back. This is good for us, yet the civilians in libanon are suffering a great deal. I cannot not say anything; i am thankful to everybody defending Israel, because down to the point that's what this war is all about no matter what the reason for its outburst was and even if the loss is greater on the other side. As i have discussed with some of you already, it is clear that there can't be a clear statement in an action where people die. There is nothing good about it. And yet, if war can be called legitimate then it is to weaken terrorists who fight a country they want to be erased from the map. But again, most people are very very sorry for the innocent souls loosing their lives and living. and as Egu put it, i do hope i can keep the AIESEC-spirit and contribute to understanding instead of hatred, therefore here once more: i never mean to speak against a nation or even against muslims as a whole, i am against terrorism and the ones supporting it. But honestly that's where my understanding ends, also as a psychologist i would say that a terrorist has a destorted perception and i doubt that tolerance is the right thing....
In the midst of this desaster there is yet a light shining: we are getting married!! We decided at short notice to do a small celebration with family and close friends first in switzerland in midseptember and then have our wedding as planned here in israel in the beginning of october.
Some of you have already heard about it and i would like to thank you all for your posts and congratulations on my conversion and the marriage.
Hope you have a more relaxed yet not less interesting summer!
with all my love
Ananda (-Eliya, my additional name i choose when entering the jewish nation)
